Member: Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations; State Bar of California; National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (Treasurer, Secretary and President, Illinois Division, 1992-1994); Association for Transportation Logistics and Law Policy; Committee Member, Board of Ethics, City of Chicago (1999-2001).

Mark is a respected trial attorney and former president of the Illinois Division of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.  He represents the interests of businesses and their insurers in catastrophic property and bodily injury claims.  Mark has a breadth of experience in products, construction, and directors and officers liability defense, having represented boat manufacturers, crane and hoist companies, construction contractors and financial and non-profit institutions in litigation throughout the United States.  He is also coverage and reinsurance counsel for various London-based and domestic insurance companies and has an intimate knowledge of these practice areas, including coverage trial experience. Finally, Mark has a unique maritime practice in admiralty claims, charterer's and stevedore's liability and cargo loss in the Great Lakes region.
