JOHN B. EHRET: Cornell University (B.M.E., 1952); Northwestern University (J.D., 1958).  Admitted to bar, 1958, Illinois and U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.  Member: Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. [Lieut., U.S. Navy, Bureau of Ordinance, 1952-1955].

As a mechanical engineer, John brings a specialized knowledge to products liability and construction litigation.  He has defended component-part airplane manufacturers (tail rudder and landing gear) in catastrophic airline crashes.  John has successfully tried to verdict various commercial disputes, including recoveries against manufacturers of defective steel installed in nuclear power plants and contract claims on behalf of manufacturers’ representatives.
